Josh created the musical to tell the story of the Berlin Wall through the lives of ordinary people, friends, families and lovers suddenly divided by circumstances beyond their control.

Blending an original story with music, humour, romance and historical events, Berlin Wall explores friendship, separation, hope and the enduring human desire for freedom.

At its heart, Josh wanted to create a musical that reminds audiences that behind every major moment in history are ordinary people with stories of their own and that no matter what the future brings, hope, love and courage will always prevail.
